How can I minister to those who are questioning and doubting their faith?: Ask Dr. Julie Hanks

In this episode, I coach Leo and address the question, “How can I minister to those who are questioning and doubting their faith?” One of the best things we can do is to listen more than talk no matter where they are and validate their experience and their feelings, even if you don’t agree.

During this episode, I guide Leo through recognizing that someone blaming the church or being angry with the church institution is not personal and has nothing to do with him or members personally. It doesn’t feel that way, but if you can think of it that way, it’s not a threat.
