Worry and Regret in Parenting: Fight Like a Mother

I recently had the opportunity to talk with Cheryl Cardall, host of the Flight Like a Mother podcast. We discussed why it is not helpful for parents to devote energy to worrying. Worrying gives us the illusion of productivity, but it doesn’t actually make any situation better.

We spoke about ways that we can stop letting worries consume our thoughts. It takes practice, but it is possible! I recommend turning concerned thoughts into action. For example, if you are worried because your child is struggling to get out of bed each day, you can set an appointment to assess their medication.
