Motherhood is a Relationship Not a Role: Fight Like a Mother Podcast

I recently had the opportunity to speak with Cheryl Cardall on the Fight Like a Mother Podcast about finding identity in motherhood. Motherhood is about connection with another human being and not about tasks on a list. We can let go of the idea of a perfect mom who does "x, y, z" and take some of the energies from the tasks and invest in the relationship.

Additionally, as mothers we have to include ourselves in our own circle of care so we can create authentic relationships. Too often we put ourselves outside of that circle and we need to be in that mix and prioritize what replenishes us and what we enjoy.
