Are Your Child’s Sexual Behaviors Normal?: The Parentologist Podcast

I recently sat down with Dr. Kim, host of The Parentologist Podcast, to talk about a topic a lot of parents struggle with: Are your child’s sexual behaviors normal?

During our time together, we cover questions like:

  • What is a good age for parents to start talking to their children about bodies, sex, and sexuality?

  • What behaviors are normal for young children?

  • When do parents know that their children are developmentally ready for conversations about anatomy and sexuality?

  • How can we avoid shame when talking about sex and sexuality with our children?

  • And more!

As parents, it can be difficult to think of your children as sexual beings. The reality is that you are sending messages about bodies and sexuality to your children from the day they are born. It is our job as parents to make sure that our children have the information they need to be educated and empowered about their bodies and their sexuality.
