Empowering Women: The Lisa Show

I recently had the opportunity to talk with Lisa Valentine Clark and Richie Steadman, hosts of The Lisa Show. We discussed how we can empower the women in our lives. As women, we are each others’ best advocates! There is nothing lost in empowering someone else and celebrating their accomplishments.

I share that one of the first steps in being an advocate is resisting the urge to compare ourselves to other women. When you recognize that another woman’s successes and challenges say nothing about you, you can be a cheerleader for those around you. It’s time to start seeing other women’s strengths as an inspiration instead of a threat.
