How can I teach my kids responsibility without creating a parentified relationship?: Ask Dr. Julie Hanks

In this episode, I coach Alyssa and address the question, “How can I teach my kids responsibility without creating a parentified relationship?” When teaching children responsibility, a good place to begin is looking at the age appropriateness of the task you're asking them to complete.

During this episode, I also guide Alyssa through identifying the lack of support and resources she felt as a child with responsibilities, and help her identify how her children's experience will be different.
