Honored to be invited to give my thoughts on a story encouraging LDS parents to show love and acceptance to their gay teens.Family therapist Julie Hanks believes the key to healthy relationships is unconditional love. "It's important for parents to recognize that their child's sexual orientation does not define them as a person," Hanks said. "It doesn't change their worthiness of love and acceptance from their family."
