I recently got to speak with Cynthia and Susan of the "At Last She Said It" podcast about the topic of authority as it relates to receiving revelation for our lives. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe in divine counsel from General Authorities. We also claim personal authority for our own lives and families specifically tailored to fit our unique circumstances.

In our discussion, we talk about what to do when personal authority and general authority seem to conflict, how to differentiate while still remaining part of the church community, and how to claim stewardship for our own lives.
